How can a foreign investor invest in the Singapore stock market?

I live in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am an investor of Dhaka Stock Exchange. Is it possible for me to invest in the Singapore stock market? If yes, what is the procedure?

Yes, foreign investors can invest in the Singapore stock market.
For applicants not living in Singapore, the following is required:
- All application documents must be endorsed by a Notary Public or Commissioner of Oaths
- Photocopy of your passport (with at least 6 months validity)
- Account application form
- Declaration by the concerned Notary Public or Commissioner of Oaths
- Deposit of S$5,000
Once the proper documents and deposit are received, a pre-paid custodian account
will be set up for the applicant and the account holder can start to trade in the Singapore stock market.
